Pearl Slattery played for Raheny United in the Women’s National League in the 2012/13 season after returning home from college in America.

The defender was part of a squad for the next three seasons that won two league titles and three FAI Cups, while also competing in the 2013/14 and 2014/15 Champions Leagues.

She is the captain and was rock solid as Shels won the title in dramatic circumstances at the end of the 2021 campaign.

Slattery remains an integral part of the Shelbourne project going into 2022 as recently scored Shelbourne’s opening goal of the new season for the third year in a row when she netted in the 75th minute to secure a 1-0 win over Bohemians at Tolka Park.

She also works as a women's football development officer for the FAI and assists with the Ireland under 17 team.
