Richard Dunne could have been inducted based on his incredible, and famous display away to Russia back on the 6th of September 2011 alone.

His heroics that night helped Ireland earn a point that proved to be decisive as they clinched a place in the Euro 2012 play-offs and, ultimately, returned to the European Championships for the first time since 1988.

Overall though he made an outstanding contribution to Ireland during his international career, amassing 80 caps, and 8 goals since his debut against Greece in 2000, to his most recent cap against Kazakhstan in October 2013.
