Thomas Morgan’s football career started with his local club Belvedere before he would receive the great opportunity to join Blackburn Rovers as a trainee in 1994.

He would remain there until 1997 before he returned to Ireland and signed for St Patrick's Athletic where he would win back-to-back league championships in 1998 and 1999.

After leaving St Pats in the summer of 2000, Morgan - the first cousin of Wes Hoolahan - signed for Newry Town where he made 22 league appearances before switching to Bray Wanderers in 2001.

He spent two seasons in Wicklow before moving to Shelbourne in 2003 where he would win another two league titles in 2003 and 2004 before he finished his career with stints at Dundalk and Kildare County.

With Ireland, he was one of the ‘Malaysian marvels', who defied the odds to secure a third place in the World Youth championships in 1997.
