Yvonne Tracy was born in Limerick on the 27th of February 1981 but her football career began with Lifford in County Clare.

She joined Arsenal Ladies in August 2000 and won the domestic treble in her first season, although she was an unused substitute as they beat Fulham in the 2001 FA Women's Cup final

She was an integral part of the London club's dominance of the English scene during her 14 years at the club and was involved in their UEFA Women's Cup triumph in 2007 which was the final leg of an unprecedented quadruple.

She was FAI International Player of the Year in 2002 and made 78 appearances in total for the girls in green, although it would have been more if it wasn’t for a couple of serious knee injuries.
